DESCRIPTION
RE-2K is a two-channel radio controller for SATEL keyfobs operating at 433 MHz. It enables remote control of devices connected to its relay outputs, e.g. full height (stadium) turnstiles, sensory gates, swing gates and tripods. Data transmission between the remote control and the controller is performed using the dynamically variable KEELOQ code. Such coding provides both a high degree of security and resistance to random control signals, preventing duplication of the pilot signal and unauthorized use. The device has a tamper switch that reacts to opening the housing, and also offers the function of signaling low battery voltage in the keyfob. RE-2K is available in a set with two two-channel remotes, the controller can handle a maximum of 16.
